She was born May 2, 1916 at Hubbard, Oregon to Daniel W. and Sarah E. (Roth) Good.
She was born July 30 1910 at West Liberty to Joseph M. and Martha E. (Zook) Hartzler. A grandson, Matthew, a sister, Anna Margaret Hartzler, and two brothers, Herbert Hartzler, and Harold Hartzler preceded her in loss of life. In 1962 he moved to Elkhart, IN and together with Robert Hartzler founded Oaklawn Center the place he served as director. She served as a nurse with Mennonite Central Committee in Indonesia throughout the 1950's. She was an affiliate member of Park View Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg. From 1966 to 2006, Willard and Mae served at Western Mennonite School (WMS) outside of Salem, Oregon. During this time she met Willard Kennel, the love of her life. Surviving are a sister-in-legislation, Gladys Kennel, Lititz; one nephew; two nieces; and a foster sister. One grandchild preceded her in dying. A brother, George Keyser and a sister, Alfretta Ulery preceded him in dying. Agnes was preceded in dying by 4 siblings, Ivie, Mary, Paul and Aldus Wingard. Surviving are 3 sons: Arnold L. husband of Patricia Gehman King of latest Holland, PA; Aldus R. husband of Judy Martin King of Gap, PA; M. Stanley husband of Susan Hurst King of Lancaster, PA; Eight grandchildren, Vicki, wife of Michael Nolt, of latest Holland, PA; Katrina, wife of Shawn Swarr of Lancaster, PA; Jeremy, husband of Rosanne Miklos King of Lancaster, PA; Matthew, husband of Melissa Buckwalter King of Atglen, PA; Mark King of Atglen, PA; Emiley, spouse of Matthew Rodak of Leola, PA; Phillip, husband of Heidi Bardy King of Groton, NY, George King of Anchorage, AL, and 11 nice-grandchildren, Michelle, Douglas and Katelyn Nolt, Jack, Maggie and Mitchell Swarr, Isabelle Rose King, Kaden, Kaycee, Campbell and Calli King.
King, Agnes M. Wingard, age 90, of the Mennonite Home, Lancaster, PA previously of Atglen, PA died May 21, 2009. She was born in Johnstown, PA, to Alonzo & Ella Johns Wingard. Funeral services was February 26, 2009 at the Chambersburg Mennonite Church, with the Mount Olive Mennonite Church Ministry officiating. Kief, Nellie C. Good, 93, of Albany, Linn County, Oregon died June 26, 2009 at the same place. Kennel, Ruth Elizabeth, 87, of Harrisonburg, VA, died February 9, 2009 at Oak Lea Nursing Home. On June 18, 1947, she married Willard Kennel, formerly of Shickley, Nebraska, and they began married life on a small farm close to Scio. On June 18, 1947 at Albany, OR she was married to Willard Peter Kennel, who was born April 1, 1926 and survives. Memorial services were held April 16, 2009 at Albany Mennonite Church, Albany Oregon. Joan Claire Striefling Crespi, 91, of Blue Bell, PA, handed away peacefully on April 27 after several years of declining well being. She was especially recognized for her clear soprano voice as she led singing in church worship providers and different special music through the years. Mae's yodeling presentations delighted her audiences on special occasions. She was pre-deceased by 2 daughters, Ada May Kulp, and Verna Marie Kulp; her step mother Mary M. Kilmer, and half brother Floyd Kilmer.
